Returns and Exchanges

Bought something that was not what you thought it would be, the wrong size, or not quite the right part? No problem! Rittenhouse makes every effort to best describe what you are purchasing on our website. However, if the garden tool, accessory, or part that you ordered is not what you envisioned, Rittenhouse is willing to help make it right. Get in touch with us toll free at 1-800-461-1041 and one of our customer service representatives will make arrangements to exchange your purchase for the correct item or refund the purchase price of the product.

Please note, when returning a part or product it must be new and in full resalable condition or it will be subject to a restocking fee of up to 50%.

If the product you received is not what you ordered, has a manufacturer's defect or was broken in shipping, Rittenhouse will also refund the original and the return shipping costs.

You must call for a return authorization number. Returns without an authorization number will not be accepted. Special order items will be subject to a 35% restocking charge.

Quick Exchange

Ordered the wrong part or accessory and don't have time to wait for all of the processing mumbo-jumbo? Rittenhouse understands this, especially when our professional customers are involved. If there has been a mistake in getting the correct part we want you to get the right part A.S.A.P. Just follow these easy steps and we can speed up the process for you.

  1. Call us toll free and explain what has happened.
  2. We will need your credit card number and have to charge your for the cost of the new part or product, but will send it out right away before receiving the incorrect part back.
  3. Once we receive the incorrect part or product back to us, we will refund your credit card for the full price of the product.
  4. That's it! You get the right part sooner rather than later.

All goods must be returned within 30 days of receipt for a refund. Any goods being returned after 30 days and up to 60 days will receive a store credit for the price of the product. Sorry, Rittenhouse cannot refund any original outgoing shipping costs or return shipping costs (exceptions will be made in the case of manufacturer defects). Rittenhouse cannot be held responsible for any damages that may occur during shipping when a product is being returned.
