New-Style Ironjet/Fiesta Spot Spray Gun
Overview
Product Description
The New Style IronJet / FiestaJet Spot Spray Gun has been designed for spot treatment of Herbicide. The IronJet / FiestaJet Spot Spray Gun is very similar to the Lawnjet Spray Gun except we have changed the trigger, wand and tip. The nozzle tip is made up of three parts: a ceramic disc, ceramic whirl plate and nylon gasket. The trigger is plastic and uses the same repair kit as the metal LawnJet trigger handle. We have made this change as we have found that the ceramic nozzle assembly and the plastic trigger stand up better with iron-based fertilizers and Fiesta. The spray pattern is a full cone shape that is 5-6'
Iron-based products can be tank mixed and require no tank agitation. When mixed, Fiesta will have the viscosity as water. When using the IronJet Spot Spray Gun the mixture can be applied at temperatures as low as 10° Celsius and as high as 30° Celsius. At 30° Celsius, Fiesta will burn your grass. It can also turn the thatch black at high temperatures.
As with all equipment, it is important to clean your equipment by running clean water through it and never store mixed product in the tank or system overnight. The trigger assembly requires yearly maintenance. Repair kits are readily available. The trigger can be repaired 2-3 times, before having to be replaced. Disintegration is usually caused by corrosion.
