Groomer Gage for Verticutting and Grooming Units
Overview
Product Description
The Groomer Gage is a precision measurement instrument that is used to accurately set the desired grooming depth on groomer or verticutting units.
Grooming can greatly improve the appearance of golf course turf only if the groomer height is set correctly. An excellent accessory for golf course maintenance, the Groomer Gage is easy to use.
How to use: Set the bar on the front and rear rollers, and with the grooming blades rotated perpendicular to the bar, push the indicating rod up until the indicating block touches the blades. By holding a constant pressure against the blades while rotating them, you can find the top dead center of the cutters or groomers. Read the Groomer Gage for the measurement. In order to set below grade, hold the indicating block against the front roller and the bar against the grooming blades.
Not only can the Groomer Gage be used for setting the desired grooming depth on your cutting unit groomer or verticutter attachments, but it also protects the driveline of groomers from overload caused by setting groomers too deep.
