Product Description
This Magnetic Base, which includes a dial indicator, is a magnetic fixture based on a magnet that can be turned on and off with its conveniently located on/off lever.
Often used in optics and metalworking, this Magnetic Base can be attached to milling machines, lathes, grinders, etc. and its universal clamp can hold dial indicators or dial test indicators in position while they are being used for measuring purposes.
The base is constructed with a v-groove to allow placement on round surfaces, such as the column of a drill press. The movable arms allow free movement to make using and reading dial indicators easier since they can be moved in multiple positions.
