Diaphragm Pump Repair Kits will usually fix common pump problems. If you notice that the oil in the sight glass has a milky grey color then you need to replace your diaphragms because they are damaged. If the pump does not draw water then the problem most likely is the valves are damaged and need to be replaced.
Replacing the diaphragms and valves is considered preventative maintenance. Keep this repair kit handy just in case your APS71 Comet Pump is having issues with its diaphragms and/or valves. It is highly recommended you replace your diaphragms every season or every 500 hours.
